The masked musicians behind everyone's favorite cartoon band, Gorillaz, have spread the word that they have a new album underway. Their third studio release, Plastic Beach will hit stores worldwide on March 8, and its already guaranteed to be a sure-fire classic. Confirming the record's full tracklisting, creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett announced that Lou Reed, Mos Def, Mark E Smith, Snoop Dogg, Bobby Womack, De La Soul, including others will be joining them on the 16-track release. Frontman Murdoc Niccals jokingly told NME.com that "leeching" is the wrong word for the album's heavy use of guest artists. "It's not like I've drawn blood or anything. No, I think the word 'coerced' sings the deal a little better. Although, yes, the coercion did come via chloroform and rohypnol." More including the complete tracklist follows.
