January 8th marked the late Elvis Presley's 75th birthday. The rock & roll legend influenced many artists and bands over the years even after his passing. One particular artist, Lightspeed Champion, made a music video in tribute covering the 1963 song "(You're The) Devil In Disguise." Check for more info on the video and a free mp3 after the jump.

The video, which you can view below, features Devonté Hynes in Los Angeles County, California, just off of Sunset Boulevard, near where Elvis Presley recorded "Elvis - 6363 Sunset." Dressed only in a gold catsuit, he pursues the dream of rock & roll by simply flaunting around, dancing all over the boulevard. Hynes commented that the song was recorded in a recent session in New York while he was working on his new album.

“Due to a popular band having leftover studio time at New York’s historic Avatar Studios, I had the opportunity of going into Studio A to record some music…Obviously I decided an Elvis song would be best [...] I got my friends from the band Spacecamp down and together we recorded an ‘almost’ live version of ‘Devil In Disguise’ with the help of whoever was in the building that felt like singing…including the receptionist. Happy Birthday Elvis! Long live the king!”
