Cyptacize and Casiotone for the Painfully Alone kick off their summer with a U.S. tour.
With the tour underway, following both groups’ new albums early this year, things will be a little different this time around. Instead of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone comprising of four musicians, the singer Owen Ashworth will be going solo. He will be performing songs from Vs. Children & Advance Base Battery Life and has revamped older material into solo works. More info after the break.

With a fairly paced and clear cadence, soft and easy going vocals, a great equilibrium is created making a very impressive and enjoyable performance by both bands. What sets these two apart from the abundance of lo-fi groups is how the songs always progress, keeping listeners gripped to the song, however there is a tinge of bitter sweetness in every lyric, making messages fairly ambiguous. Singles such as CFTPA’s ‘Old Panda Days’ and Cyptacize’s ‘Blue Tears’ leaves fans with almost a nostalgic tone. What better counterparts than these two?
