It has been a few years since Beck’s launching of The Information and hits like 'I think I’m in Love' and 'Nausea' filtered through the radio, but he has certainly kept himself busy. Beck’s project, Record Club, comprises of himself and friends covering albums in one day. He’s already got Velvet Underground’s first record notched on his belt. The artist has recently disclosed yet another project, Planned Obsolescence, a weekly DJ set. There is very little stated about this addition to Beck’s work. All he has remarked on it is that he and unnamed friends are getting things in order, and when us listeners get to see the end result, enjoy. The only taste of this new DJ set that he has leaked is Autobahn Hologram. This mix possesses messy jumbles of instrumental sounds, random electronic components, along with the nonchalant vocals, which gives Beck fans something to look forward to.
