The highly anticipated Gorillaz documentary, Bananaz, finally has a solid release date as of today. Now you may be thinking, "How can you make a documentary about a fictional cartoon band?". Well, the documentary gives fans a 91-minute look into the making of Gorillaz from the first sketches through the animations, music, and the musicians and voices behind Murdoc, 2D, Noodle and Russel Hobbs. The film will be making an online premiere on April 20 through Babelgum and later have a theatrical release via EMI.
