Sheffield's finest instrumental post-punk quartet have squelched all of their upcoming tour dates. Get all the details after the jump.

65daysofstatic, the electronica dandies who have brought us both techno Justin Timberlake remixes and their vibrant 2007 release, The Destruction of Small Ideas, have canceled all of their upcoming tour dates. If you were banking on seeing the guys at any of their shows in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taiwan, or most notably, their SXSW slot, don't hold your breath.

The English group have cited "a serious family emergency" as the cause behind the cancellation of their aforementioned overseas dates. If you were thinking of jetting to Singapore to sing along, think again. Ticket refunds are available through the selling outlet for those who have made purchases.

As for the shocking and sudden drop from the SXSW bill, the band has stated that "financial costs" have been the main source hindering their ability to perform at this year's festival in Austin, Texas. The band has made an official statement on their website, emphasizing that the reasoning behind both cancellations is not related.

If any more information on the canceled dates becomes known, check back with Inyourspeakers to get the full story.
